衝撃！ 電光石火の決意！

Koganei’s decision

Kurei planned to have Fuko and Domon trapped in order to draw Koganei out. Apparently, he suspected that Koganei would be willing to help the Hokages. During the 1st round, Genjurou had transformed Jisho to be a four-legged creature...

Mikagami wondered how did Genjurou transform Jisho into a four-legged creature. Genjurou explained that he used a combination of human and animal genes to create Jisho. Koganei continued by saying Genjurou had this ability to perform psychic surgery – to operate on a human body with just the bare hands. With this ability,  Mikagami thought that Genjurou was trying to play god.

Jisho charged and attacked. Koganei dodged and used the 4^th form of the Anki Kougan, boomerang and threw it. Jisho avoided the coming boomerang, Koganei smirked at the sight of the returning boomerang but Jisho jumped up. Koganei caught Anki Kougan, surprised that it had evaded the attack. Genjurou told him that Jisho learn thing quickly and never made the same mistake twice. Koganei tried again but Jisho caught it and flung it so high that the Anki Kougan got stuck at the ceiling of the battle dome. Recca yelled at Koganei to jump up and get back his Anki Kougan but it was impossible for Koganei to jump that high.

Things were now looking bad for Koganei. Jisho treated him like a toy and threw him onto the ground mercilessly. It leaped up and landed on him, forming a deep crate onto the floor of the arena. Kurei found it a pity that Raiha’s best pupil would end up like this. Raiha looked at him and suddenly remembered something. Back to Fuko and Domon, Domon requested for a kiss from Fuko since they were going to drown. Fuko punched him in the face. Luckily, she had an idea. Since the water level was rising, Domon would be able to reach the top, he could then punch his way out. Domon praised Fuko and did as he was told. But the ceiling was still too thick and Domon cried out in pain.

As Koganei laid unconscious, Neon walked up to him and told him that this was his punishment for betraying Kurei's kindness in adopting him as well as training him. Koganei recalled the day that he first met Kurei. He was playing a rubric cube (the cube for six different coloured sides) and solved the cube as easy as ABC. Kurei saw this and remarked on his intelligent and quick reflexes. He had a moudough in mind that would suit Koganei very well. He asked Koganei to join him. Koganei agreed and always thought of him as an older brother. Since then, he had been always loyal to Kurei till the day he decided to join the Hokages. Koganei questioned the rationality of his decision.  

Recca yelled at him to get up and fight if he want to protect Yanagi. At that moment, Koganei remembered Yanagi and how Kurei tortured her even though he promised not to.Koganei believed that was his reason for joining the Hokages. Genjurou looked at his watch and said that it was time. Jisho’s eyes shined and its body mutated into a larger creature with horns. It attacked Koganei who  barely dodged its viscous blows. Koganei was determined not to lose because he want to ask Kurei something. Jisho hit Koganei, sending him high up in mid-air. It leaped up too.

Koganei recovered and threw his vest down, covering Jisho’s face. He jumped onto the back of Jisho and leaped up high enough for him to grab his Anki Kougan. Moving swiftly, he changed the Anki Kougan into its 2^nd form – Ryu; chain and a sickle – and aimed the sickle at Jisho. It struck its paw but Jisho grabbed it, swung Koganei around and pulled.  Koganei changed the Anki Kougan into its third form – Kyoku; giant pair of scissors – injuring Jisho’s shoulder. He then changed it to its fifth form – An; bow and arrow – and shot the arrow into Jisho’s mouth.

Koganei told that he was able to win due his quick reflexes to change the Anki Kougan like he did with the rubric cube. Jisho was not dead yet but it lost conscious. The referee announced the winner – Koganei from Hokage. The Hokages congratulated him, accepting him into the team. Recca was happy but Mikagami reminded him that Domon was still not present for the 2^nd round.

The trap was filled entirely with water and Fuko was unable to hold her breath any longer. She saw a bright light before she fainted. When she woke up, she saw a man who introduced himself as Raiha. Fuko immediately recognized him as one of the Uruha members. Raiha told her that it was not their main motive to kill them but to draw Koganei out. Fuko asked him why did he bother to save her and Domon. He replied that they were destined to fight against each other – her Fujin against his Rajin (god of Thunder) – but they would not be fighting at the Urabutousatsoujin but somewhere else.

The referee looked at the Hokages for their next fighter, Domon. Mikagami shook his head. The referee was about to announce that the winner of the next round goes to the Uruha Moboroshin when Genjurou interrupted. He proposed that the winner of the fight to continue fighting until he loses. That way they could avoid a lost. Recca found it unfair but Koganei agreed since he knew that the Uruha want him dead at any cost. Mikagami agreed, accepting the proposal as the 'leader' of the Hokage. Recca protested at Mikagami's claim as the leader.

The 2^nd round was announced – X from Uruha Moboroshin VS Koganei from Hokage. It turned out that Mokuren was the next fighter. He tricked Koganei into believing that he did not want to fight with Koganei since they were friends and was willing to withdraw. While Koganei (completely leaving his guard down) left the arena, Mokuren captured him with his branches. 

As Moukren transformed into a human face tree, Koganei was absorbed into his body.
