Gau recovered but he was too
frightened. Elle sensed that Gau had not mentally fully recovered from his fight
with Darkness. She stepped in to help but Len blew her away…
Len was irritated at Gau’s frightened behaviour and started to kick him about. He found Gau a pitiful and pathetic kid and a disgrace. Then, he decided to take off Gau’s head.
Darkness somehow appeared in Gau’s mind and told him that though he had learnt how fear had had ability to destroy a soul, the only way to overcome it was through himself. To do so, Gau had to learn the purity of a beast’s heart and strength. Those who knew their true fear and overcome it would earn the true strength of the beast. Then, Darkness showed him a scene of lioness dying and her carcass returning to dust. Out from the dust, came a beautiful blooming flower. Darkness told Gau that he was blessed to be surrounded by friends who had strengthened him through their strengths and love.
Gau smiled and Len becomes annoyed. He threw Gau up high in the air and set himself to kill. Gau dodged and landed safely. Len noticed the change in Gau’s eyes and started to worry. Gau strangely asked for Courage so that he could stand up. Then, Folly sensed a strong talisman somewhere near Gau’s body. She looked at him closely and spotted the Jama Talismans sticking out from Gau’s boots. Immediately, Folly ran up and summon the talismans to reveal its power.
Meanwhile, Len (not wanting to waste time) charged and almost punched Gau when the Jama Talismans transformed themselves into G, who stopped Len and tossed him aside. G held Gau’s hand and told him to go forward with the pure heart of a fighter. Afterwards, G returned back to the talismans.
Gau picked up one of the talismans, intending to repeat Len’s game. He released the talisman, which was floating down very slowly. Len became impatient and launched off. Gau then recited his own Marital Art Language (May Courage defeat the fear in my mind. Give me Wings so that my Shadow Skill can fly again!). Shockingly, a winged Dais appeared and gave Gau a push on the back, telling him to fly. Gau jumped up and used Shadow Skill technique, Raypia. Len resisted. Then, Gau switched to the technique ‘Kanon’ (Episode 21) and defeated Len. At that moment, the Hidden Enemy of Juliennes was forced to acknowledge that his plan to exterminate the Holy City had failed.
Kai Sink (who was watching the entire battle scene with Scar Face) commented that Elle still had to be punished for breaking the Rules of the 4 Fighters. However, she would be given a lighter sentence. A few days later, Scar Face gave an official degree that Elle was to be temporarily exiled from Kuruda and she was to assist by Gau Ban.
At an art place, a stone sculptor sighed becuase Elle’s statue would remain incomplete for a very long time.
Aftermath
· Folly helped Feorina in the construction of the Octopus Restaurant.
· Kai Sink and Darkness set to work in resurrecting Black Wing Dais Lag, the Sword of Ashiliana
· Kyou decided to follow Elle and Gau secretly.
· Low initially thought of giving up on Kyou but quickly changed his mind & decided to follow wherever Kyou went
· As for Scar Face Vai Lowe, he returned to the City of Juliennes and made amendments to his wife, Holy Knight Folstense Lowe!
