Takatori Reiji is badly affected by his daughter's death and vents it on Schuldich and Farferello by giving them both a bad thrashing. Crawford intervenes, pushing the blame onto Weiß. Takatori Reiji moves his hatred onto Weiß.
Omi pays his respects at Oka's grave and meets Shuuichi (Persia). Shuuichi aplogises for not being able to tell him earlier that he and Oka were related by blood. Omi does not blame him. Takatori Reiji drops by too and finds his brother and Omi before Oka's grave. He recognises Omi.
Takatori Reiji conducts a series of terrorist-like crimes and makes Weiß the scapegoat for all these activities. This infuriates Weiß who wonder who the mastermind is. Aya meets Manx and demands to know why Persia has not passed the mission yet. He reminds her that his only reason in Weiß is to kill Takatori Reiji for revenge. Takatori Shuuichi goes to Reiji's office to meet him personally. Reiji hints to him that there are people going around commiting crimes and they appear to be from the terrorist organisation - Weiß. Shuuichi feigns ignorance and on the other hand, questions him where his private army troop had gone to (Takatori Reiji had used them to conduct the activities). Reiji feigns ignorance too and before Shuuichi leaves, Reiji inquires about the boy who was with him when they visited Oka's grave. Shuuichi does not tell him. In the meantime, Aya confronts Omi and asks if he is a spy sent by Persia. Omi accidentally reveals the identity of Persia to be Takatori Shuuichi.
Aya confronts Shuuichi and demands to know his motive for forming Weiß and why he has yet to do anything with the activities that has been going on. He then recalls seeing Shuuichi when Takatori's car knocked down his sister and is convinced that he is an accomplice. He refuses to listen to Shuuichi's reasoning and decides to back out of Weiß. He then visits his sister in the hospital. He opens up her closed fist, revealing a earring that is the same to the one he is wearing on his left ear.
After an incident has caused a few people dead and a number of casualties, Shuuichi finally issues the mission. The remaining members of Weiß find Aya missing. Omi then reveals that Aya will not be coming back. In the meantime, Aya lies in ambush for Takatori's car. He recalls the incident that happened 2 years ago…
Aya (then Ran) brings his sister Aya to buy a birthday gift for her 16th birthday. Aya takes fancy to a pair of earrings and pesters her brother to buy it for her. As they return home, a shock awaits them as they find their parents dead. Soon after, the bomb in their house goes off and the siblings narrowly escape. Ran fails to run out in time however and gets buried under the debris. As Aya runs back to her brother, an approaching car collides into her. Aya falls, unconscious. The owner of the car is Takatori Reiji and he sees Takatori approaching the car before passing out.
On seeing his sister lying unconscious in the hospital bed, Ran swears to take revenge for his family and takes out the earrings that were supposed to be his sister's birthday present. For fear that he might forget to take revenge, he decides to live under his sister's name Aya and puts one of the earrings on his ear, leaving the second with his sister.
Reiji gives Shuuichi a call and challenges him directly, telling him he knows that the latter is the mastermind of Weiß and tells him he will take action as soon as he becomes the Prime minister.
Aya sees Takatori's car approaching and attempts to kill Takatori Reiji. Crawford steps out of it instead and reveals that he had predicted that Aya would assasinate this car so 'Mr Takatori' had taken another car instead. Crawford and Farferello takes Aya on and Aya is on the losing end. Meantime, Weiß has fallen into the ambush created by Takatori Reiji with no means to escape.
