The Haunting in Cinema Paradise

In the Spring of the 15th year of the Taisho Era, Oogami was packing his things for his departure to Paris. While doing so, he came across a flower shaped hairpin ...

Team Hanagumi were acting their first movie, 'Benitokage' (Red Lizard) with leading actress, Sumire, as the beautiful thief, Benitokage and costar, Kanna, as detective Kogoro Akechi. Meanwhile, Oogami & Yoneda were having tea with Sumire's father, Mr Kanzaki (since he's the one producing the movie). He believed that movie studios were dream factories where any unscientific things would become real. Later, Oogami went to the outer rims of the movie studios where Sumire & Maria were cooking dinner for the others who had gone for other acting roles in other movies - Sakura in an ancient Samurai movie; Maria & Orihime in an action-packed movie; Leni & Iris in an autography session. During these times, strange things had been occurring.

At dinner, the team Hanagumi talked about the famous ghost rumour that was spreading about in the campus. The ghost was supposed to be the spirit of Tamatsubaki Tsuwako, a popular actress during the reign of silent movies. However, her popularity ended when the sound movies came in. Despaired, she hanged herself in Studio number 13. And that was where team Hanagumi was going to for the next scene taking. All that time, Sumire didn't seemed to be bothered.

The next day, a chandelier collapsed during the recording that almost crushed upon Sumire. Instead of being frightened, Sumire remained calm and went on acting, impressing everyone except the vengeful spirit of Tsuwako. Later, while everyone was having dinner, Tsuwako possessed Oogami's body.

Back at Studio 13, everybody was preparing for the climax scene where Akechi was to have a final gun showdown with Benitokage. Outside, Orihime, Leni & Iris were walking when they saw an eerie-looking Oogami leaving the studio. Sensing their presence, the possessed Oogami attacked the trio & trapped them in a shield barrier.  Like all typical bad guys, the possessed Oogami revealed to the trio that he had switched bullets in Kanna's gun, showing his every intention to kill Sumire. Upon this, Leni broke the barrier, allowing Iris to teleport into the studio. Luckily, Iris managed to divert Kanna from shooting Sumire.

Angered, the possessed Oogami began destroying the studio, rattling on about being a star. Sumire (undaunted) told Tsuwako that she didn't lose her popularity because of her voice but rather it was her attitude & selfishness. A real actress would always share the stage with other actors no matter how minor their role may be as well as the staff involved in the movie making. Holding up her hand, she offered to share the stage with Tsuwako. Extremely touched, Tsuwako released Oogami & appeared. With Sumire's help, Tsuwako was restored to her beauty. With tears of gratitude, Tsuwako thanked Sumire and faded away, leaving behind her hairpin. as an indication that her soul was in peace.

Soon, the movie was completed on time and team Hanagumi was preparing to return to the Hanagumi theatre. (Meanwhile, the director of Benitokage was planning to make a movie based on Tsuwako's life) Sumire gave Oogami the hairpin and told him he should have it as he fully understood the heart of an actor/actress.
