究極の炎！ 伝説の火龍！

The Ultimate Flame; The Legendary Karyu

To save Yanagi, Recca had chosen to take off his cast even though he might be burnt to death by his own flame...

With hesitation, Recca took off his cast. Kurei thought that Recca had become insane because he himself  wouldn’t dare to take off his protective bangles (which had the same function as Recca’s cast.) Fire was unleashed and Recca was sent flying all about(including screaming in pain) in the room until a 8-headed dragon materialized. Kage Houshi was dumbfounded because Recca had the ultimate flame of all flames – Karyu, the 8 headed dragons, Nandare, Saiha, Madoka Homura, Setsuna, Rui, Koku and Resshin. The dragons started to damage the mansion, breaking down the walls. In the labs, the intense heat had overheated all the machines and everyone was fleeing for their lives, leaving Yanagi still stuck onto the electric chair. The adjoining wall between the lab and the room where Recca is was broken down, revealing Yanagi's location. One of the dragon, Resshin, charged forwards (right at the direction where Yanagi was), Recca saw it and yelled at the dragon to stop.

Resshin stopped and turned its face towards Recca who tried to order him and the rest of the dragons about but they couldn’t be bothered to listen to him. Instead, they attacked him. Recca stood still, unwavering. Resshin (most likely the leader) asked why did he remain still.. Recca replied that he needed their power to save Yanagi as well defeating Kurei. Resshin agreed to help him on a condition that he gives something in return. Recca complied by offering his arm as payment for his help.

Resshin attacked Kurei who used Kurenai as defense but Resshin wiped the angel aside. Kurei received a blow from Resshin. His red cloak was burnt and his mask was cracked into pieces. Within less than a minute, Kurei gets up with a scar on the his left side of his face. He claimed that he only received slight cuts and bruises and the scar on his face was caused by something else that would remain unforgettable for the rest of his life. Resshin was amazed at Kurei's ability to survive the blow. Recca wanted to continue the fight but he had already use most of his energy. He collapsed to his knees. Kurei seized the chance to kill him but Recca fought back (with Resshin's help, of course!)

Kurei had another blow from Resshin but stands up again. Then, 4 people appear, whom Kurei introduced as the members of the Uruha (Raiha, Neon, Genjurou & Jisho). Instead of finishing Recca and the rest (a typical habit of all bad guys), he decided to let them go because he had something better for them. As a reward for entertaining him, he returned Yanagi to them. Then, Kurei and his followers dematerialized.  

Kage Houshi praised Recca for his efforts. Yanagi ran towards him and hugged him, crying. Recca told her to wait for a moment. He held up his arm and told Resshin that he was ready to keep his word. Yanagi held him tightly and begged Resshin to let Recca off and offered her arm as payment. For some reason, Resshin agreed and decided to stay with Recca. But if Recca gets defeated, they would burn him to death.

Suddenly, Ganko called out them, Fuko was surprised that she didn't escape. The gang sees the injured Mr Tatesako (whom they nearly forgot!) Ganko told them Koganei was the one who helped her rescue Tatesako. Outside the burning mansion, Koganei prayed for Yanagi’s safety. Then, he sees Kurei and the Uruha members. He told Kurei that he wished to leave the Uruha because Kurei had broken his word about not harming Yanagi. Neon volunteered to kill the traitor but Raiha stopped her, saying that he was just a kid. Genjurou indirectly said that Koganei will die for his treachery. Kurei decided not to kill him because he would suffer the same fate as Recca. They dematerialized again, leaving Koganei behind. 

While Recca & the rest watched the mansion being burnt to the ground, Kage Houshi knew that it was time to tell them the secrets that had been kept for the past 400 years.
