Yanagi and Tatesako had been abducted by Kurei's men, Kogenai Kaoru and Mokuren...
Yanagi
awakened to find herself in a bedroom. Hoping to know where she might be, she
looked out of the window. Koganei greeted her from behind, scaring her. He
apologized and told her that he had brought her clothes, her friends are
safe and he was only obeying Kurei’s orders. When Yanagi asked him about Kurei's
intention with her, Kurei (with his mask on) entered. Yanagi trembled in
fear.
Recca
woke up, screaming ‘Hime!’ His dad, Hanabishi, hit him on the head and
scolded him for making a racket in a hospital. Recca wondered why is he in a
hospital. Hanabishi explained that he received an anonymous phone call about him
getting into a fight. He chided Recca for involving Fuko and Mrs Tatesako in a
man’s fight and went off to pay the bills. Domon told Recca that Yanagi and
Mr Tatesako had been taken away.
In
another room , Kurei told Yanagi that she was in a secret mansion and nobody
would
be able to find her. He apologized for her kidnap and told her that her friends
are unharmed. Yanagi noticed the painting of Mori Kougan on the wall and
recognized him as the one who donated generously to charities. Kurei replied
that the fastest way to become rich and powerful was through lying, cheating,
blackmailing and even taking lives if needed. Seeing Yanagi becoming nervous, he
coaxed her to have some tea
to calm her nerves. He went on saying his father’s dreams were to have
everlasting wealth, power and immorality, which he personally finds it childish.
However, he would find the secret in obtaining it though her healing ability. The
room darkens and a projection showed her healing Recca. Yanagi begged him to let
her go and suddenly, felt dizzy. Kurei used his flame and burnt off Yanagi’s clothes,
saying he would examine every inch of her body. Before losing conscious,
Yanagi recalled Kage Houshi’s warning. Kurei stood over her naked body and
laughed.
At
the warehouse, the desperate Recca yelled for Kage Houshi to appear.
She did and told him that she was not the cause of the kidnap. Using Eikai, she
showed
them what had happened 5 hours ago – Koganei and Mokuren were carrying Yanagi and
Tatesako into a mansion where Kurei was waiting for them. Kage
Houshi told them where they were taken to and that Yanagi would be still alive
since Kurei intends to study her healing ability. Recca insisted to rescue her no
matter what. Kage Houshi allowed him to go on one condition that if he was unable
to defeat Kurei, he must escape because if he were to die, who would be left save Yanagi.
As a ninja, Recca must learn to be patience, which was one of a ninja's virtues.
Recca thanked Kage Houshi and told her when he returns, he would like her to tell him more about the Hokages. She
agreed.
Recca
(dressing up like a ninja) went to the mansion, together with Fuko and Domon.
While beating up the security guards, Fuko managed to use Fujin with ease. Kurei
watched them in a security control room, during which, Koganei informed Kurei
that he recognized them as
Yanagi’s friends. Kurei commented on their foolishness and ordered the land mines
to be activated.
Yanagi
saw the bright lights and went to the window to have a look. She was astounded
at the sight of a barren land (the damages of the landmines). Kurei told her that her friends
had come to rescue her, partially the one dressing up
as a ninja. Yanagi believed that they were dead and Kurei warned her about the
consequences of her disobedience. Their talk was interrupted by sound of
fireworks. Yanagi went to the window and sees a brilliant firework display. She
smiled in relief and delight. Kurei found the fireworks amusing and knocks
Yanagi unconscious, saying that her examination was not complete
yet.
Recca,
Fuko & Domon barged into a hallway filled with stone statues by the sides. In the
middle of the hallway, stood a statue, blocking their path. Recca stepped forward and a laser shot out
from the statue's mouth, stinging Recca’s hair. Fuko threw a dart at it but the laser
turned
it into ashes. A third shot was followed, and all of them managed to evade it. Kurei
greeted
them through a voice transmitter, taunting them that they were in a game and they
must surpass the statue, Maria, if they wish to save their friends.
Recca
gnashed his teeth in anger...
