Recca
was thrown back by the impact of his flame against Fujin's wind blade. Yet, he
counterreacted
Fuko’s attack with a stronger flame. Fuko was taken back by it. Kage Houshi
commented that the power between
Recca and Fuko were now even. Fuko became excited and resumed her assault. Recca
dodged them from time to time as he proceed nearer to destroy the ore of Fujin. He
successfully made a crack on the ore of Fujin. Kage Houshi, seeing that Recca
had discovered Fujin's weakness, ordered Fuko not to
let Recca get near to Fujin. Fuko obeyed and created a large tornado surrounding
her. The sight shocked both Recca and Domon (who gained conscious after some
time) but Kage Houshi was amazed that Fuko was able
to do it within a short period of time. However, she said Fuko would die within
2 minutes because she would not be able to breathe in the center of the tornado.
Domon did the old-fashioned bull strength punching while Recca sent out fireballs to break up the tornado but their efforts failed. Recca yelled at Fuko to stop but she merely stuck out her tongue. Recca asked Kage Houshi what was the purpose of her doing this to him. What did she want from him? Domon interrupted Recca by telling him to look at his cap. They both watched the cap being lifted up, flew over the wall of the tornado and dropped to where Fuko was standing. Instantly, both men knew what to do next. Recca ran towards Domon, who threw up him into the air. Recca flew over the wall of the tornado, released his flame and destroyed the ore of Fujin. An explosion followed after that.
Recca
was about to ask Fuko if she was okay but fell backwards with his nose bleeding. Fuko
slowly became aware that she was naked except for her underwear. Apparently, her
clothes were torn off during the explosion. She punched Recca, so did Domon and.
Yanagi (who finally gained conscious ) yelled at him for being a pervert. Recca
protested at her accusation.
The
group then faced Kage Houshi, who seemed to be happy with their performances. Domon
threatened to kill her for using Fuko but she smirked. To prove her point, she
stabbed herself in
the chest with a dagger. Yanagi screamed while the rest are stunned as they
watched the fatal
wound healed by itself. Kage Houshi sadly told them that she was the woman who saved
Recca 400 years ago by using a Hokage time-travel technique. However, by doing so, she's
cursed to be an immortal forever and to live to a lonely life for 400 years. But
now, she had found Recca.
Then, she dematerialized. The group stood there, dumbfounded, not knowing that another person
had been watching them. .
The
next day, Yanagi spot Recca talking with an older student with the name of
Tokiya Mikagami, who asked him about yesterday’s incident. Recca thought that
Mikagami had seen him playing a prank on the principal and begged him not to expose him.
Mikagami ignored him, walked away, saying he would find out the truth sooner or later. Recca
stuck out his tongue in response. Yanagi wondered how did the stranger know about last
night’s incident.
In a
park, Mikagami approached a fountain and dipped the tip of a dagger-like object into the water.
The water followed it as he lifted it up, transforming into a crystal-clear sword. Kage
Houshi analyzed the sword to be one of the Hokage moudoughs, Ensui. Mikagami
turned around and questioned her motive. Kage Houshi replied she knew about Ensui and that someone dear to him had died for
it. She held up a photo
of his older sister, Mikagami Mifuyu. Mikagami’s icy face
softened as he recalled that fateful day.
7
years ago, 2 strangers barged into Mikagami and Mifuyu's house. Without reason,
one of them (with
several earrings on his left ear) bloodthirstily threw a dagger. To protect
Mikagami, Mifuyu took the lethal blow. Mikagami screamed in horror…
Mikagami
had claimed that he had forgotten all about it but Kage Houshi declared him as a
liar because revenge was the only thing that kept him going for the last 7 years.
She contrasted the similarity between Recca trying to take Fuko’s Fujin and the
men who wanted to take Ensui. Mikagami coldly said that it had nothing to do
with him and left. Kage Houshi smiled, knowingly that Mikagami had made up his
mind to fight Recca.
At
home, Recca looked at the photo of a beautiful woman and pondered whether if she
was his
mother. His dad teased him in saying that he had given birth to Recca, who
immediately cursed his dad for being such an idiot. Then, he sensed someone watching them.
His dad dismissed the idea and sent him off to buy a packet of cigarette.
On the way back, Recca had that feeling again. He ran till he reaches a fountain where Mikagami was waiting for him. After a brief fight, Mikagami showed Recca Mifuyu's photo. Recca cried out ‘Hime’. Spontaneously, Mikagami believed that Recca knew Mifuyu’s killers and demanded for an answer. Recca unwisely replied that she looked like someone he knew. He gave an attack but Mikagami dodged. Confirming that brutal force had to be used, Mikagami revealed his Ensui to Recca.
Mikagami
has a flashback of Mifuyu’s last words before she died, telling him to protect
Ensui and learn how to use it as well. Mikagami insisted that Recca give him the
name of Mifuyu’s killers. However, Recca released his flame and charges. Mikagami
did
so and put out Recca’s flame, shocking Recca completely. Mikagami coldly
explained that water put
out fire, a fact that little children know. Blood spurted out from Recca’s arm.
He screamed in pain.
Yanagi
had a ominous feeling about Tokiya Mikagami and rushed out of the house to find
Recca. Meanwhile, Mikagami slashed Recca mercilessly. He gave Recca one last
chance to tell him the name of Mifuyu’s killers. Recca yelled that he doesn’t
know at all. Mikagami, running out of patience, was about to give the final blow
when Yanagi screamed at them to stop. (mmm.... it's puzzling that she was able
to find Recca... well, it's a gift for all heroes' girlfriends)
Mikagami
paused and stood speechless at the close resemblance between Yanagi and Mifuyu.
“Ane (older sister in Japanese)…,” he said. Yanagi ran to the badly
beaten up Recca, knelt down to his side and cries.
Note:
Mikagami is used instead of Tokiya because most of the characters address him
this way.
