灼熱の眼光、刹那の瞬光!

The fiery eye; Setsuna’s fire dance

In the last round, Recca had learnt that Genjurou had forced Menou to work for him by entrapping her father in an hourglass through the usage of the Hokage maudough, Mugen. So, he destroyed Mugen, releasing her father from his bondage, which lead him to be the winner. Now, he faced Genjurou...

Before the referee announced the fight, Recca made a deal with Genjurou. If he were to win, Genjurou had to remove the hair animator from Menou. However if he lost, Menou would die for her betrayal. The Hokages were confident that they would win the match since Genjurou has no moudough. Koganei remained skeptical as Kurei had personally chosen him as one of the Uruha 10, which was the highest level of the Uruha organization. 

Genjurou took his sheath from his sword. Recca attacked by giving a lot of punches but failed to hit Genjurou. Then, he used Nadare but ended up hitting illusions of Genjurou. The Hokages looked hard as they tried to determine the real Genjurou?  Mikagami looked up and saw Genjurou flying down. He gave a warning cry. Recca, hearing it, evaded in time. Kagero felt that she had seen that movement somewhere before. Mikagami observed that his movements were similar Kurei who also used illusion to trick his opponents. Genjurou scoffed at the thought because Kurei had stolen his technique from him. He claimed that he didn’t need a maudough at all and he himself was sufficient enough to defeat the Hokages. Genjurou showed the real technique, spitting himself up into 10 Genjurou. Recca was able to detect the real Genjurou simply because only one of them was carrying a sword. To everybody’s surprise, the illusions were able to hit Recca pretty well. That was the main difference between him and Kurei in terms of their illusion skills.

Recca used Saiha to get rid of them but he couldn’t find the real Genjurou. He felt a prick behind his back. Genjurou was behind him. He created 2 Genjurou illusions that immediately grabbed hold of the struggling Recca. Genjurou held the sword aiming at Recca. Neon (who was watching them from behind) was delighted that Recca was going to die. She ordered Genjurou to finish the job. He complied. Everybody was held in suspense. Surprisingly, Recca’s fingers moved.

It turned out to be that Genjurou had deliberately cut a wound on Recca’s side. Neon wanted an explanation. Genjurou told her that he didn’t join the Urabutousatsoujin for Kurei but because he wanted to win Kurei. Some years back, Kurei had destroyed Genjurou’s creations and defeated him. The only thing that saved him was by taking Kurei’s offer to work for him. Since then, Genjurou was plotting to have his revenge. He knows that he couldn’t defeat Kurei at his level but if he could obtain the power of Karyu through psychic surgery…

Genjurou penetrated his arm into Recca’s chest. Recca screamed in agony. Fuko and Domon want to rescue Recca but Mikagami stopped them. If they interfere, they would lose the match. Not only that, Yanagi would be taken to Mori Kougan and Menou would die. If they look closely, Recca had stabbed his leg with Saiha to keep himself conscious. He did that because he was fighting for Yanagi and Menou. In the room, Raiha askd Kurei if he allow this to happen. Kurei explaind that he had spit up the Uruha into groups so that he could test them for their loyalty. Genjurou’s treachery would be taken noticed.  Soon, Genjurou found one of the Karyu and absorbed it power. He released Recca, who could barely stand up.

With his new power, Genjurou attacked Recca who defended himself with Homura. He praised Recca for using Homura for defense even though he can only summon one dragon at a time. Recca asked for Saiha’s help. Saiha told him to wait and that the dragon that Genjurou had called out was Setsuna, the most violent of them all. Now, Setsuna was extremely angry since he was thrashing up the arena. If anyone looked at his eye, he would die. Recca, understanding the hint,  ordered everyone to close their eyes if they want to live. Genjurou thought that Recca was tricking him and ordered Setsuna to attack.

Setsuna turned his head at him and asked who the hell was he. He opened his eye and Genjurou was burnt to a crisp. As he collapsed, he said that his ambition became ashes. The referee announced the winner – Recca. Team Hokage could proceed on to the next match. Kurei said Genjurou had lost because he had the underestimated the Karyu. The Karyu would never give their power to anyone. For now, they had chosen Recca.

Another tattoo burnt at Recca’s arm – the symbol of Setsuna – much to Recca’s protests. The much-blackened Genjurou got up and walked towards Menou. He put his arm into her body and removed the hair animator. He tossed it to Recca who destroyed it using Saiha.

Yanagi offered to heal Genjurou but he turned down her offer, saying that he was going to hell. He walked up to Neon, who told him that she would not listen to any excuses from a traitor. Genjurou’s last words to Kurei – he would be waiting for him in hell. Neon played her flute, Genjurou’s body explodes from the inside. The Hokages were appalled by the sight.

Neon told the Hokage that she would waiting for them as their next opponent – the Uruha Oto (Uruha sound)
