To obtain immorality, Mori Kougan had set up the Urabutousatsoujin to force the Hokage to set Yanagi as the gift if they should lose in any of the matches. So far, two members of Kurei’s Uruha 10 – Genjurou and Neon – had failed to kill Recca...
The Hokages had to fight for 3 more matches in order to win. Koganei and Mikagami entered with the news that their next opponent had withdrawn, allowing the Hokages to enter the semi-finals. Recca wanted to celebrate but Mikagami mentioned about their next opponent – Uruha Mahou (Uruha Magic) who were fighting in the next arena.
The match was between Uruha metal (one of the Uruha 10 ‘s team – Jisho) against the Uruha Mahou. The leader of Uruha Mahou, a brown cloaked guy wearing a mask, which had a drawing of an eye in the middle, took out a bazooka and shot out a purple flame skull at Jisho. Instantly, Jisho was reduced to a skeleton. The referee announced the winner – Uruha Mahou. Koganei couldn’t believe that Jisho was defeated that easily.
The next day, at the battle dome, the referee (racoon-costumed) announced the semi-finals between the Hokages and Uruha Mahou. One by one, the Uruha Mahou introduced themselves – a mummified guy - Tsukishiro, a ninja - Kashamaru, an armoured guy carrying a spike ball - Gashakura and the leader, the one who defeated Jisho – Magensha. Recca sarcastically clapped his hands for their performance.
The 1st round went to Tsukishiro from Uruha Mahou against Koganei from Hokages. A streak of light cut opened the bandages, revealing the mummified guy to a nice-looking man, who was wearing a white cloth around his waist and holding a moon-shaped sword. (His voice was like a gay.) Tsukishiro felt disappointed that he had to fight a monkey like Koganei, which made Koganei irritated. Recca found the sword that Tsukishiro was carrying a little strange. Tsukishiro explained that the kind of curved sword was often used in the Middle East countries, especially for traitors like Koganei. Kogenai said that he was a Hokage now and all Tsukishiro's talking was just to cover up a weakling like him. Magensha fiound it surprising for an ex-Uruha to say something like this. However, Koganei couldn’t recognize him. Megensha told him the Uruha Mahou was only known to a limited amount of people. Their main duty was kill traitors such as Genjurou, Ganko and Koganei while the Uruha organization grew in numbers.
The referee started the fight. Kogenai used the 2nd form of the Anki Kougan, Ryu. Tsukishiro dodged in time. He lengthened his sword (which so happened to be a Hokage Maudough – Kaigetsu, Ocean Moon) and threw at Koganei. Koganei moved away, smirking. Then he realizedd that the Kaigetsu looked like the 4th form of the Anki Kougan, the boomerang. He turned his head and sees the Kaigetsu spinning towards him. Koganei blocked it with his Anki Kougan but the impact was too great for him to handle. Koganei crashed into one of the pillars of the arena. Tsukishiro beat up Koganei like a punching bag as punishment for betraying Kurei. He told the referee why he intended not to let Koganei hit him. The reason was that he didn’t want his beautiful face to be damaged by a monkey. From behind, Koganei jumped up and gave a kick, yelling that Tsukishiro would pay big time for it. Magensha was quite surprised that Koganei could stand up from such a beating. Domon glee because he and Koganei had been training together and Koganei had received much worse punches than that.
Blood was dripping from Tsukishiro’s face and Tsukishiro wanted revenge. He unwrapped the cloth around his waist, covered himself with it and vanished. Koganei looked around, unable to detect him. Tsukishiro taunted him because he could see him very clearly. He came up from above and almost smashed Koganei if he hadn’t roll away in time. Magensha said Koganei was able to detect him because blood from Tsukirshiro’s face had dripped onto him. Tsukishiro vanished once more. Kagero recognised the white cloth as the Hokage maudough – Oboro, Hazy Moon, which had the ability to make the user invisible. Koganei began to panic, Recca tried to encourage him. But how was Koganei going to detect him? The answers from Recca, Domon and Fuko were telepathy, courage and faith. (Some answers!)
The panicked Koganei ran about in the arena, Kagero knew that he was really in danger. Mikagami yelled at him to keep still and conserved his energy. Suddenly, a boomerang appeared and slashed him from behind. The stunned Koganei fell to the ground. Tsukishiro appeared and grabbed hold of his head. He explained his reason for his entrance as a mummified guy. Based on the story of the invisible man, he always wore himself in bandages when he goes out in public. Koganei should have known about his ability if he had read the book. Tuskishiro beat up Koganei until he spit out blood. Yanagi wanted to end it but Recca held her back, telling her to have confidence in Koganei. Mikagami agreed, knowing that Koganei would find a way when Tsukishiro disappeared.
True enough, Tsukishiro disappeared again. Koganei looked around and observed the blood on the ground. Tsukishiro materialized, Koganei saw the blood patches on the Oboro. He instantly cut the Oboro into two, exposing Tsukishiro. Koganei explained that his own blood on Tsukishiro’s oboro had helped him to detect his presence. Tsukishiro admited defeat just as long as Koganei don’t touch his face. Koganei smiled and had his revenge on Tsukishiro’s face.
The referee was about to announce the winner when Koganei fainted. The Hokages crowded around him. The referee decided to make the round as a tied between the 2 teams. She smiled, knowing who the real winner was. The audience cheered. Yanagi accompanied the medical team who brought Koganei to the sick bay.
Recca promised to bring Koganei the good news that they had proceeded to the final round.
