 水鏡の死闘! 决死氷紋剣!

Mikagami's battle; The battle of the ice swords

In the first round of the Urabutousatsoujin's final, Domon had defeated Noroi from Uruha Kurenai. After which, Kurei made his presence...

Recca vowed to beat Kurei to a pulp. The old man hit him on the head, telling him that he wouldn't stand a chance if he didn't follow him now. Yanagi replied that Recca had grown stronger with each fire dragon that he had obtained. The old man stretched his hand out and absorbed the fire dragons from Recca. The tattoos on Recca's arms vanished, making Recca unable to summon the dragons. The old man told Recca to follow him if he wanted to get the fire dragons back. The Hokages urged Recca to do so since his enemy was only Kurei. Recca ran off into a hallway, wondering where the old man was. He saw a mirror on the wall, touched it and was instantly sucked in. The mirror burnt up and disappeared.

The referee announced the following round - Kai from Uruha Kurenai against Fuko from Hokage. The cloaked Kai jumped down to the arena and revealed his weapon - a very long sword that was attached to his arm. Mikagami saw it and recalled the old man's words. He ran past Fuko, jumped down and requested for a change of fighters. Kai agreed because he initially wanted to fight with Mikagami.

Recca fell head down into a desert. An eruption occurred, covering Recca with sand. A blue-haired woman dressed in red appeared. She apologised to him for covering him with sand and told him to get ready. She shot out fireballs. Recca ducked and demanded to know what was going on. The old man, who was comfortably eating his meal, told him that he had to defeat the woman if he wanted to get the fire dragon back. The blue-haired woman introduced herself as Nadare. She once lived as a human being but now exist as one of the fire dragons. Although Nadare had been helping Recca from the start, she must test whether Recca was qualified to have her powers. For she would not served anyone who had become arrogant because he depended on her. Nadare shot out a huge fireball, which Recca caught it and threw it back to her. She jumped away but was defeated. Recca admitted that it was true that he had depend on the fire dragons but he still needed their help to defeat Kurei. She smiled at Recca's honesty and returned to him, burning her symbol on Recca's arm. The old man praised him for his effect but what about the rest. 3 fighters appeared - Saiha, Homura and Madoka.

Back to the arena, Kai told Mikagami what he would not answer any of Mikagami's questions. Mikagami, drawing out Ensui, told him it didn't matter. The fight began. Both men fought with the same speed. Ganko asked Koganei who Ka was. Koganei didn't know but he thought that Kai must have joined the Uruha after he had left. Mikagami sliced Kai's cloak off. Kai thanked him because he could move easily now. Mikagami spot the earring on Kai's left ear. Kai asked if the earring had disturbed him, claiming that he had killed all those who seek revenge for their loved ones. Mikagami believed that Kai was the one who killed his sister, Mifuyu. He stabbed Ensui into the ground, using the technique - icicle flow. Kai counter reacted with his weapon, disrupting the icicle flow. He told Mikagami that he was not the only one who knew how to use Ensui. Kukai found Kai's words hard to believe - there could be only one master & one student and that was Meguri Koyoza and Tokiya Mikagami. Mikagami analyased that Kai's weapon as a maudough (Hyoumaen - Magical ice sword) and that it could copy the moves of Ensui. He called out a water snake from Ensui but Kai counter reacted with his ice snake. Kukai and Kagero both had the same opinion - Kai was the better fighter. Kai told the stunned Mikagami that he used to be a student of Meguri Koyoza.

In the desert, Recca met the sexy Rui, who started the fight by taking off her long flowing robe. Recca (whose nose was bleeding) asked how could he fight a naked woman. Rui told him that the enemy would use deception to win and this was something that he should remember.

Mikagami tried to focus on getting revenge for Mifuyu. Saicho sensed that he had lose control of his emotion after learning that Meguri Koyoza had betrayed him. Mikagami felt that the only reason the Meguri Koyiza never told him about this was that Kai was not fit enough to succeed him. Kai replied that the real reason was that Mikagami was his back-up plan if anything would happen to him. Mikagami used the icicle flow again. Kai jumped up, knowing that the weakness of that technique was that Mikagami would not be able to defend himself since Ensui was stabbed deeply into the ground. Kai showered his ice spikes on Mikagami who fell to the ground, transforming into water. Kai realised the technique as the water puppet. The injured Mikagami attacked him from behind. He used another technique, the earth snake, which was combination of the water snake and icicle flow. Kai defended himself by using an ice barrier, determined to win. In the end, Kai's effects were not in vain. Mikagami was in trouble because Ensui had run out of water.

Kai charged and stabbed him. Mikagami broke into as water except that the colour was red. Kai was taken back. Mikagami leaped from behind, holding a red-coloured Ensui. Kai then realised that Mikahami had used his blood to restore Ensui. Mikagami strike but hesitated at the closer view of Kai's earring. He stabbed Kai near the heart while Kai stabbed him back. Both men fell but Kai got up. The referee announced the winner - Kai, who couldn't believe that he had won Mikagami.

Fuko and Domon jumped down and aided the injured Mikagami. Fuko asked him why didn't he kill Kai since he was Mifuyu's killer. Mikagami replied that Kai was not the murderer since his earring was the different from Mifuyu's killer. He asked Kai why did he pretend to be Mifyu's killer. Kai told him that he was the one supposed to succeed Meguri Koyoza. However, Meuguri Koyoza saw the talent in Mikagami (when he was a little boy) and decided to make him the successor. Kai was then treated as dirt. He remained alive because he was the back-up plan if Mikagami were to die. Kai couldn't take the blow and decided to fight with Mikagami to see for himself. He was convinced that Mikagami was the talented one since he had remained his composure throughout the fight. Mikagami told him that he has won the fight. Kai replied that he shouldn't comfort him because he knew that he could have died by Mikagami's red-coloured Ensui. He walked away, saying that there was no need for two sword masters. There was one more thing to mention - the murderer of Mifuyu was actually Meguri Koyoza. To make Mikagami to increase his power quickly, he used revenge as motivation by killing Mifuyu. Kai hoped that Mikagami would have his revenge. He fell off the edge of the arena and into the darkness. Mikagami looked down where Kai had fallen, his face filled with pain.

In the desert, Recca met the ugly-looking Setsuna. He then asked the old man to reveal his true self. What was the old man's true identity? None other than the 7th dragon of Karyu - Koku!
