Ashiliana Calendar, the Year of the Holy termination, on the night of
the 2nd Day of the 9th month, the famous ‘Blorahan
Lightening Attack ’has begun…
As the 4 mercenaries fell together with Gana, they released their
equipment, which attached itself to the mountain wall. Together, they used
Kuruda Annihilation Technique – sword and injured Gana at the same time. Gana
screamed in pain as she continued to fall. Surprisingly, an energy barrier
appeared, allowing Gana to land quite safely on the ground.
At Blorahan, the Soulfan army began their first assault, Gau Ban, Folly
and Kyou showed up and fought them, forcing the Soulfan soldiers to retreat. The
trio brought Dais into the house where Kai Sink was waiting. While Kai Sink was
persuading Dais to take a medicine that he had brought for him, Folly explained
to Gau that Kai Sink of Crimson was also a Cevar. He was also known the Lazalem,
Silver Sword, one of the 11 Lazalems in Ashiliana. These people were in harmony
with the power of Souma and played an important role in keeping the flow of
Souma throughout Ashiliana. In fact, Kai Sink was the one who created the famous
scar on Scar Face’s face.
Dais, for some reason, refused to take the medicine. Instead, he told
Gau, Folly and Kyou the reason of Soulfan’s attack. They want to bring down
Ashiliana. By defeating Kuruda, they would be able to do so. Kai Sink continued
on by saying that Soulfan had no Lazalems, thus, unable to get the power of
Souma. Since Ashiliana was rich in the power of Souma, the neighboring countries
were in constant fear. It was through this fear that they wished to destroy
Ashiliana. Kai Sink suspected that Soulfan was a prawn used by someone whose
identity had not been known yet. Suddenly, fiery crossbows appeared and the
house was in fire. Gau took upon himself to defeat the Soulfan troops while Dais
and the others were taken to safety. Dais (who had adopted Gau as his younger
brother) gave him his boomerang in hopes that it would protect him as he shown
Soulfan the true fear of a Kuruda Var.
On the Aikia Road, Elle was rushing for time to reach Blorahan. Gana
intersected her with her demon beast. At the same time, Master Leen’s advisor,
Falanx was checking the dead bodies. By observing the fatal wounds on the
soldiers’ bodies, he concluded they were done by Kai Sink. He slyly grinned.
As for Gau, while he was fighting with the Soulfan soldiers, he recalled
Dais’ words. The reason that Dais
refused to take the medicine was because he knew that he couldn’t stop Death
from coming to him. Like he himself had found a reason so strong enough to
consume his life into fighting and making weapons, so must Gau find a virtuous
and proud reason to fight till it consume his life as well. Though Gau would be
fighting in other battles and with other opponents, he would be always
constantly fighting against himself. As his older brother, the only thing he
could do was to give him his best weapon.
Master Leen was disturbed that his men were doing badly against a Var. A
solider came up and reported to him that Falanx had disappeared. Yet, Master
Leen set his mind on the battlefield. Back to the Aikia Road, Gana was mocking
at the stupidity of people fearing Cevars. In response, Elle decided to crave
the meaning fear into Gana’s heart. With one blow, Elle killed Gana’s demon
beast and defeated Gana, who was completely loss for words. She questioned
Elle’s intentions for allowing her to live. Elle replied that killing and
defeating were two different things. Though Cevars had the power of fear, it was
a sad and painful thing to live with because they also had the power to take a
life as easily as they wanted. Gana, after admitting defeat, told Elle that the
4 mercenaries were still alive.
Soon, Master Leen set out his armoured troops against Gau. Though tired
and injured, Gau said that in respect of his loved ones and his opponents, he
would give himself a fighting name – Black Howling.
In the Early Dawn of the 3rd day of the 9th month,
Soulfan reported that they had difficulty with an enemy whose powers matched a
Cevar. Despite this, they had no problem fighting back and their spirits were
still as high as ever. However in Ashiliana’s records, it was reported that
though there were 1000 Soulfan soliders invading Blorahan, they were defeated by
1 Var.
