Episode 7

宿命の対決

The destined Battle

When the sun is full in the sky, a shadow is born on the ground. The shadow represents the form of the things in the universe. The form whips its own body and polishes it. Thus, it becomes the finest Cevar ever to be formed in this manner. The Cevar says, “My one single blow is invincible.” and the people of the world would rise up and praise the Cevar by saying, “You are the only who rules with honour and fear that is unmatched any where.”

A man was cleaning a long stretch of blue cloth when 2 fighters (Doga and Louis Franscella) appeared. Doga, intended to stop Louis because he was planning something that was out of self-interest instead of upholding the rules of the Suilem Association. Louis held out a talisman and freezes the entire village into solid ice, including Doga.

Back at Kuruda, Folly was forcing Elle to go shopping because Elle would need to dress properly when she made public appearances in the future. Soon, the two started to bicker over each other. Watching them was Kyou, who wondered if there was ever a duel between Elle and Folly, who would win. Gau was taken back by Kyou’s thoughts. Meanwhile, a shopkeeper was persuading Folly to buy some blue cloth, which was the last cloth ever made by the Village Topa. Folly thought that the shopkeeper was making a mistake but he assured her that the village Topa was destroyed because it had been covered by ice a few days ago.  Gau became concerned at the sight of Folly and Elle’s stern faces.

Outside the restaurant, while Elle was training with Gau, she was having deep thoughts. Gau seeing that Elle wasn’t fully concentrated in the fight, tried to defeat her but ended up being defeated. Elle mildly chided him for taking advantage. Gau, still concerned about her stern face earlier on, tried asking Elle to reveal her thoughts to him. Instead, Elle coldly told that she was going to face her greatest enemy. Meanwhile, Folly was busy making talismans.

The next day, both Gau and Kyou found Elle and Folly were missing. Thinking what Elle had said to him the night before, Gau decided to go to the village Topa. In the meantime, Elle and Folly were already at the village, waiting for Louis Franscella. He appeared and announced that Fear Alkana also known as Follynemlyer  (Folly) Brazamatizer must avenge her master (Okito Klyns)’s death as according to the rules of the Suilem Association. Though Folly had no grudges against Elle, she confessed that she still had to abide by the rules. Elle replied that she would also abide by the rules of Kuruda Cevar and uphold the 2000years of being undefended.

Soon, Gau and Kyou were approaching the village. As Gau ran off to the battle scene, Kyou found the frozen Doga, who was still alive. Gau reached the battle scene, shocked to see Elle and Folly fighting each other. Louis Franscella warned him not to interfere. As a watchman, he must see that Folly avenged Okito Klyns’s death, as it was her duty as his pupil and daughter. Louis explained to Gau that Elle had killed Folly’s father even though she had defended him in a duel. Though Gau was in disbelief, he questioned Folly if she truly believed that Elle was a murderer. Folly replied that she had been postponing the inevitable conclusion ever since that day she had tried to kill Elle. Unfortunately, she had failed and was caught in a fire. To her surprise, Elle came and rescued her. Since then, Folly had been following Elle, determined to see whether Elle was deceiving her. Even though her hatred for Elle had died, she still had to abide by the rules.

Folly and Elle prepared themselves for the final move. Louis gave the signal. They strike. Then, a shout interrupted them. It was Doga, who was leaning against Kyou. (Apparently, she had rescued him from the ice.) Doga quickly exposed the truth. Louis was never meant to be the watchman because the Suilem Association had discovered that he was the one who killed Folly’s father. Though Okito Klyns was defeated by Elle honourably, Louis took the opportunity to kill him because Okito Klyns was already too weak to defend himself. After learning the truth, the Suilem Association had sent Doga to inform Folly as well as to be the watchman.

Louis admitted that Doga was telling the truth. Knowing that Folly had used most of her energy fighting Elle, he immediately used his talisman to freeze them. Then, he tried to kill Elle but Doga took the blow. Folly, somehow, broke free of the ice and used a fire talisman on Louis, who was defeated in an incredibly few seconds. Before Louis died, Folly quietly reminded him that according to the rules of the Suilem Association, if the pupil failed to avenge the death of his master, there could be only death for him.

Later, Folly asked Elle for not telling her the truth earlier. Elle replied that Folly could not believe her and would think of it as an excuse. Cevars like Elle would face a lifetime of enemies. Thus, they had to deal with anger, hatred and revenge for as long as they live.
