At
the port of the city, Kishurana, Len Fuuma killed 3 soliders. The next day,
their bodies were found floating in the waters. Kishurana Swordsman (one of the
4 Fighters), Sai Oh, stood watching for a while before leaving…
In
the city of Kuruda, Kai Sink and Scar Face informed King Eva Stolla that an
unknown fighter from Kuruda had murdered 3 soliders from Kishurana. It was a
grave matter as Kuruda and Kishurana were not on friendly terms on each other
based on an incident of Elle killing Zal Zakyulet during a duel. Though the
matter was kept under wraps, it may be disclosed sooner or later.
At
the Octopus restaurant, Elle received a letter from Sai Oh. In his letter, Sai
Oh wished to conclude his fight with Elle at the wastage dump on the outskirts
of Kuruda. Elle is allowed to bring a judge of her choice. As soon as she read
the letter, Elle went into serious training. Gau was extremely concerned as Elle
looked like she was preparing to kill someone. Elle revealed to Gau that she
killed Sai Oh’s master, Zal Zakyulet some years ago. Though both Sai Oh and
Elle knew that they would be breaking the rules of the 4 Fighters. This was a
battle that was inevitable. Sai Oh had to do his duty as a student to take
revenge for his master and Elle had to uphold Kuruda’s 2000 years of being
undefeated. As a fighter, she accepted the challenge. The Rules of the 4
Fighters were just made for the sake of convenience for those in power and it
will ruin the Fangs (fighting spirit) of the 4 Fighters. Elle vowed to put all
she had in the duel because she was not going to fight for honour or protecting
someone but only for the consequences.
Later at night, Gau was still pondering over Elle’s words and wasn’t sure what to do. Darkness appeared in front of him, gave him the Jama talismans and told him to accompany Elle and be the judge of the duel.
At the wastage dump, Sai Oh was waiting for her. He told Elle that a week ago, an unknown fighter from Kuruda had murdered 3 soliders. Though he didn’t care whether Elle was the culprit or not, someone had broken the Rules of the 4 Fighters and chaos might reign in Ashiliana very soon. If that happened, it would be difficult for them to settle their fight. Before the fight started, Gau reminded the 2 fighters that the duel would not based on Kuruda Cevar versus Kishurana Swordsman but strictly based on Elle versus Sai Oh.
The fight began and Sai Oh was the first to slash Elle’s arm. Elle looked up and sees Sai Oh was blind in the left eye just like Zal Zakyulet was. It turned out that Sai Oh had deliberately stabbed his left eye as reminder of his oath to avenge his master’s unjust death. So, Elle closed her left eye to make the fight fair. Then, she launched forward. Sai Oh recited his own Marital Art Language (Remember the word ‘kill’ in your mind and it will become the ‘fang’ in your mind) and injured Elle seriously.
Meanwhile, Len Fuuma was at the outskirts of Kuruda, with a spear in his hands. He threw it into the direction of the wastage dump.
Sai Oh was having the upper hand and was about to kill Elle when Len Fuuma’s spear appeared and pierced straight into his chest. Still, Sai Oh insisted that the fight was not over and he would continue to fight just as Zal Zakyulet fought to the death. Elle recited her Martial Art Language and used Kuruda Annihilation Technique, Open Skill, Katana. Sai Oh died in her arms. Gau was shocked that Elle used Open Skill instead of Shadow Skill. He wondered whether Elle had thrown away her pride in her desperation to win. Even so, Elle was very upset and was filled with regret. Then, she quietly took Sai Oh to be buried.
Darkness appeared and asked Gau if he understood the meaning of fighting. He told Gau that Scar Face was thankful for Gau for bringing G back to his sane self. Darkness explained to Gau that fights were meant to be inevitable and the consequences were always bittersweet.
Somewhere near the wastage dump, Dais bumped into Scar Face who indirectly told him that he was planning something and Dais should stay out of it.
