Though Dais had defeated Darkness, he
had passed away and everybody was affected by it…
Kai Sink and Dais Lag reported to King Eva Stolla that they had to return to Juliennes as the flow of Souma had decreased rapidly and the Lazalems were unable to reach Lunalis Lumbra. Meanwhile, Soulfan armies were advancing to the mainlands of Kuruda.
At the Holy City Juliennes, the Holy priestess Guinevia was still trying to connect Lunalis Lumbra. A man rushed in and reported to Sir Gardo and Holy Knight Folestence that the Fighters from Litoka and Felicia were approaching Kuruda. At the same time, Len Fuuma was sent by the Hidden Enemy to go to Kuruda and killed all the Cevars.
At a river, Elle took Dais’ belongings, put them into a boat and set it on fire. As she watched the burning boat sinking into the waters, she cried.
Back to the Holy City Juliennes, Princess Juliennes received that Kaila Rue Luka from Litoka and Gean Tease from Felicia were approaching Kuruda’s borders. Their actions were justified, as Kuruda had failed to provide the answers that both countries needed after their assault by fighter who used Kuruda Annihilation Techniques. Princess Julinnes felt that the only solution was to bestow to Kuruda the highest honour, the Sword of Ashiliana. By doing so, the other 3 countries would not dare to create trouble. Though the solution may cause unpleasant responses, it was the only way. Princess Juliennes had already decided the person to be the Sword of Ashiliana.
At the training grounds, Elle and Gau were having their usual training sessions. However, Gau was still mentally affected by Dais’ death and wasn’t able to fight properly. He was too afraid to fight and blamed himself for causing Dais’ death. Elle said to him that though it was painful to lose loved ones, they still had to make the best out of life. Later, Gau went to town and sat in front of the statue of Scar Face. Then, someone stood in front of him. Gau looked up. It was Low.
Using teleportation, Kai Sink and Scar Face arrived at the borders of Juliennes where they saw Holy Knight Folestence and Princess Juliennes teleporting. Both wondered where they were heading.
Gau told Low about Dais’ death, blamed himself for causing it and wondered if he was able to look after Elle like he promised Dais. Low replied that it was natural to fear death and Gau shouldn’t blame himself so much. After all, nobody was blaming him. Though it would take time to overcome the fear of death, Low believed that Gau would be able to do it.
At another dimension, Kai Sink thanked Darkness for keeping Dais’ soul while he was restoring Dais’ physical body. Darkness replied that he would wait till it was time to resurrect Dais. However, in order to do so, they would have to summon the moon to bring Lunalis Lumbra back to Juliennes. Then, Kai Sink heard Lunalis Lumbra’s voice. Her message was that she would not return till the full moon.
Back to the training grounds, Elle felt the moon was representing Dais’ life. As the moon became smaller, Dais was getting closer to death. Then, Kaila Rue Luka and Gean Tease showed up and demanded Elle for an explanation for the assault on their countries. Suddenly, a portal opened, revealing Princess Juliennes and Holy Knight Folestence. Princess Juliennes announced that she was going to bestow the title, Sword of Ashiliana the shield of Juliennes, to Dais Lag. Instantly, Kaila and Gean protested strongly but Holy Knight Folestence silenced them. Princess Juliennes continued on saying that she would pardon Kaila and Gean for entering into Kuruda without permission. She encouraged Elle to train herself harder and become stronger than Dais.
The next day, Kaila and Gean were still in Kuruda, unsatisfied. Both decided to remain in Kuruda and investigate further. Meanwhile, Elle decided to give Dais’ boomerang to Gau, who declined. Elle told Gau that if Gau was going to be the shield to protect others. Then she would be the sword that would destroy the fear of death and the name of that sword was Courage.
