The Holy City Explodes

Ashiliana, It was the largest city of Juliennes that had a rich history of over 4000years. It was still said that the Holy power of Souma was still residing in this area that spread throughout the land. Juliennes was a glorious city that stood high in the sky, protecting the land. Thus, it was regarded and respected by all as the Holy City...

Folly and Kyou arrived in Juliennes just in time to stop Elle’s furious dispute with Kaila Rue Luka, the Cevar from Litoka, one of the chosen 4 fighters. Elle had no choice but to control herself when Kaila taunted her with the consequences of breaking the Rule of the 4 fighters. At the palace, the Princess of Ashiliana, Juliennes was worried because she feared something disastrous would happen due to the increasing rumours of the Termination of the Holy City. Her subjects, Sir Gardo Day and the Holy Knight Folstense Lowe reassured her that the Ceremony of the 4 fighters would run smoothly.

As Folly forced Elle to rehearse her oath for the Ceremony of the 4 fighters, Kyou and Gau went to explore Ashiliana by themselves. When the Ceremony began, Elle not only looked terrible in her ceremonial robes but also made her complete fool of herself when it was her turn to recite her oath. At the outer rims of Ashiliana, Kyou and Gau bumped into Low, who was very jealous at the sight of Kyou holding Gau’s hands. Without reason, he attacked the naïve Gau. Within minutes, Sir Gardo, Holy Knight Folsetense and their guards took the trio to the prison for creating unnecessary violence.

After the Ceremony, Kaila continued to irritate Elle, who couldn’t tolerate her nonsense any longer. She challenged Kaila to a fight, commenting that it was stupid for fighters like them to abide by the rules made by arrogant high-class society. They were fighters and it was natural for them to fight with a potential opponent. Besides, the only way for the 4 fighters to get along and become friends was through the fist. A drunken Ashiliana citizen agreed and started to create a food fight. (Elle was awfully surprised at the sight of Ashiliana citizens fighting among themselves.)

Kaila decisively accepted Elle’s challenge and soon, both of them were seriously engaged in showing off their skills. Gean Tease, the Cevar from Felicia, compelled to stop the fight, used her Felicia style Kouma. Elle teased her for giving in to her fighting spirit. Kai Oh, the Cevar from Kishurana, seeing an opportunity, started to recite his own Marital Art Language. It seemed like all hell was to break loose in Ashiliana when Sir Gardo Day gave a loud booming shout. Astonishingly, everyone stopped at what they were doing and looked at him. Holy Knight Folsetense then ordered everyone to stop acting like an immature kids and behaved accordingly like Ashiliana citizens. Kai Oh from Kishurana quietly complied and told Elle even though she could not recognize him, he would kill her the next time they met.

In the end, Ashiliana was back to normal. Kyou, Gau and Low were pardoned for their ‘crimes’ after being released by Scar Face (much to annoyance from his wife, Holy Knight Folsetense because he released them without permission). As for the 4 fighters, they got along pretty well. (But what did Kai Oh has against Elle?)
